Gary is currently working with Martin Luther King III on a very exciting project called “Realizing the Dream” in honor of his father, Martin Luther King Jr’s, legacy.  The vision of the project is to help people fulfill their dreams in their career and life. They plan to establish the first center in Las Vegas as a prototype.  The Las Vegas model will eventually be duplicated in “Realizing the Dream” Centers across the country.  This is a very significant project and will bring many new jobs to the citizens of Nevada. Throughout his life, as a private citizen and public servant, Gary has maintained a commitment to providing opportunities for people who might never have had a chance to succeed. He has produced many television shows to promote nonprofit organizations, such as “Solutions” designed to build awareness of the problems in Haiti, and “Mayors Media Solutions” which encouraged Mayors of both parties across the country to address key issues, and “America’s Least Wanted,” a show co-produced with Michael Reagan, to raise awareness of the plight of foster children.  He also made it a regular practice to hire youths, who were members of street gangs from the South Central Los Angeles area, to give them hope to escape that lifestyle. Gary is passionate about representing the interests of the people of the Great State of Nevada and breaking the gridlock in Washington, D.C.  He offers a fresh bi- partisan perspective which focuses on making winning decisions for American people, not special interest groups.   He believes the 2010 elections offer a chance for the American people to replace career politicians with citizen legislators (non-professional politicians), who will actually represent the interests of their constituents and will work to restore the faith and the trust of the American people in their government.
